For those who appreciate a slow pace and eco-friendly holidays, staying at the Houseboats on the Lake is an opportunity to truly get away from it all. The anchored boats have been designed to limit the impact on nature and preserve the magical setting of Serre-Ponçon lake.

Made in France & eco-labelled. With their own energy supply, the Houseboats on the Lake have their own water supply, a gas cylinder and solar panels. They produce enough power to illuminate your nights, keep you warm and ensure optimum comfort throughout this unique stay. Please remember to bring biodegradable hygiene products only, because every little bit counts for the planet. We rent fishing gear to those want to truly eat local.

Location of the Houseboats on the Lake

Welcome to your houseboat on the banks of Serre-Ponçon lake, the largest artificial lake in mainland France, with 80 km of wild creeks and beaches laid out on the banks of its pure waters. Between Alpes de Haute-Provence and Hautes-Alpes, Serre-Ponçon lake is the ideal starting point to explore the Parc national des Ecrins.
